Snaplive

Terms of Service

Effective October 10, 2026

1. About these terms

Snaplive is run by Velto Labs (“we”, “us”). These terms cover our website (snaplive.co), the Snaplive web app (app.snaplive.co), the Snaplive mobile app once it’s available, and the websites we build and look after for you (together, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you’re using it for a business, you confirm you can agree on that business’s behalf, and “you” means the business.

2. What we do

We build a website for your business, host it, and keep it up to date. You ask for changes in plain words, and Snapper, our AI assistant, prepares them for you. Small updates, like new photos or hours, go live once you approve them. Bigger changes, like new sections or design changes, come with a preview of your site first.

Nothing changes on your live website without your approval. Please check each change before you approve it. Snapper is software, and it can get things wrong.

3. Your account

  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including changes approved by team members you invite.
  • Tell us right away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

4. Quotes, fees and payment

  • Website builds start at $500 CAD. We agree on your exact price, what's included and the timing in a written quote before any work starts.
  • Ongoing updates and hosting are covered by a monthly plan, priced in your quote.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes, such as HST.
  • Payment terms and any refunds are as set out in your quote. If a payment is overdue, we may pause the Service until it is paid. We will tell you before we do.
  • We may change monthly plan prices with at least 30 days’ notice. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

5. Your content

You own the text, photos, logos and other material you give us (“your content”). You give us permission to store, copy, edit, resize and publish your content as needed to provide the Service. That includes showing it on your website and sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that:

  • you have the right to use your content, including permission from anyone who appears in your photos;
  • your content, including your prices, hours and claims about your business, is accurate and lawful; and
  • your content does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

6. Your website and our platform

Once your build is paid in full, you own your website’s content and the design we made for your business. We keep ownership of the Snaplive platform, Snapper, our software and tools, and the general templates, components and know-how we reuse across websites. We grant you a licence to use those as part of your website for as long as you have it.

You keep ownership of your domain name. We may show your website in our portfolio and marketing. If you’d rather we didn’t, just tell us.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • publish anything illegal, misleading, hateful or harassing, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • send spam or malware, or collect people’s information without their consent;
  • try to get into systems or accounts you are not allowed to access, or interfere with the Service; or
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Snaplive platform.

We may refuse to publish, or may remove, content that breaks these rules.

8. Cancelling

You can cancel your monthly plan at any time with 30 days’ notice. If you ask, we will give you a copy of your website’s files and your content so you can host it somewhere else. We may suspend or end the Service if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or don’t pay. After your plan ends, your website will be taken offline.

9. Availability and third-party services

We work hard to keep your website and the app running, but we can’t promise they will always be available or error-free. We rely on trusted service providers for hosting, sign-in, email, code storage and AI. Their outages are outside our control.

10. Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is”. We don’t promise any particular business results, search rankings or number of leads.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to cover us for claims made by others that arise from your content or your breach of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of New Brunswick.
